Future Chocolate Maker

Dakota Jaeger might be young, but he knows what he what he wants to do. Like most kids just starting their teen years, he loves chocolate. But unlike most kids, he wants to learn where it comes from and how to make it. How can he turn cacao beans into chocolate?

When we first met Dakota he told us, "I am 12 years old and wanting to start an organic chocolate business.  My interest started when I went on vacation to Hershey Pennsylvania.  My mom and dad bought me a gift to start making organic dark chocolate bars, and this got me started.  I want to make healthy chocolate for whoever wants it!"

To achieve that goal, he set up his own GoFundMe page. He doesn't need much to get started. A table top grinder and roaster, some molds, and a few other odds and ends. He will get beans from us, and technical support from many of the other local chocolate makers he met at our FCIA Midwest Meetup. If you'd like to help Dakota achieve his goal, please visit his GoFundMe page.
